Poker is a gambling game that can be played with any number of players. Players place a bet and the highest hand wins the pot. The rules are simple, but there are hundreds of variations of poker to choose from.<\/p>\n

A straight is a five-card hand that is sequential in order. A flush is a similar hand, but it is all cards of the same suit.<\/p>\n
There are also games that do not consider straights. In those cases, a flush is a high card in a hand.<\/p>\n
It’s hard to say exactly how many versions of poker are out there, but most of them involve an ante. An ante is a small bet that you buy in to before you are dealt a hand.<\/p>\n
Other types of poker are played with a blind. The blind is a forced bet that gives players something to chase.<\/p>\n
